- The University of Illinois Library is one of the largest public university collections in the nation. It’s compilation of more than 10 million volumes is remarkable for its size, diversity, and quality. Self-guided tours of the Main Library and Undergraduate Library are available from the Information Desk on the second floor of the Main Library.
- Accessibility and resource sharing are the hallmarks of the University Library system. Use of the University of Illinois Library’s extensive electronic materials (online catalog, bibliographic databases, Library web sites, and web services) includes more than one million items circulated annually and many more accessed on site.
- The library system holds more than 24 million items in the main library with a collection of 10,500,000 million volumes.
